Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. She is best known for her role as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. She was the sole one child to Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered entertainment early and began playing lead roles in different TV dramas before she turned 16. Following her highly praised role in the television movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. This film received nominations for an Oscar and garnered critical praise. Other Oscar nominees featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra has been involved in numerous notable projects both at home and abroad over her career. For instance, the British biographical documentary Control the Greek Drama The Dust of Time, and the French history miniseries Napoleon are just a few of those. In addition, she was a member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
