Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor, who has also worked as a producer, director and producer. The actor is most well-known for his role in the movie 'Birdman. He is a versatile actor who can play both comedic as well as dramatic roles. His professional career has seen him has performed a range of roles in romantic scenes and appeared in action thrillers. He began to take an interest in performing and acting when at the age of teen and attempted stand-up comedy when he was a young man. While his stand-up comedy venture didn't go well however, it served as the basis to his acting career. As he was not able to succeed as the actor of his dreams, he chose to become a television cameraman. Through the work he started to discover that he desired to appear on camera. In a few episodes, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he could land the role on TV. He was a natural actor and was quickly a hit on TV. His comedic roles brought him fame and he began the career of a filmmaker with high ambitions. Further acclaim was earned when he portrayed Batman's eponymous hero in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew in his abilities as an actor, and ventured into production and direction. For his role in Birdman (2014), he won numerous awards and nominations.
