Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. The actress was born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16, Alexandra played the leading part in a variety of television dramas. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film), was critically and commercially acclaimed.
