Following graduation from University of Texas and a desire to pursue professional acting, she moved out west. She was a model for print and began her acting career by performing in commercials. Her first TV appearance was an extra in the series Friday Night Lights. Her first appearance was in minor roles in series like A Thin Line Supah Ninjas (A Thin Line Supah Ninjas) as well as How I Met Your Mother. Her film career around the same period with films including Detention and DisCONNECTED. In the drama General Hospital, she had her biggest breakthrough in the role of Kristina.
